Abstract
A taser protection garment that provides a wearer with protection in the event that they are attacked or mugged. The taser protection garment includes a protective vest having an interior surface and an exterior surface, the protective vest is adapted to be worn by a wearer, a plurality of taser electrodes disposed on the exterior surface of the protective vest and a hand-held trigger in electrical communication with the taser electrodes that is adapted to activate the taser electrodes, thereby producing a taser beam to taser an attacker attacking the wearer. The protective vest is lightweight and includes an interior liner disposed on the interior surface of the protective vest to protect the wearer of the protective vest from electrical shock.
Description
- The present invention is a vest. More specifically, the present invention is a taser protection garment.
- It is not a rare occurrence for people to be violated or attacked while going out for a jog, for instance, especially during night-time. When abruptly grabbed in an attack, one is usually left defenseless as the perpetrator gains control, leaving the victim helpless with no real means of protection. The taser protection garment provides a viable way to keep joggers, elderly people or anyone in general who feels unsafe when traveling somewhere alone secure.
- What is needed is a taser protection garment that provides a wearer with protection in the event that they are attacked or mugged.
- The present invention is a vest. More specifically, the present invention is a taser protection garment. The taser protection garment may be worn in all weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, snow or any other weather condition
- The taser protection garment includes a protective vest having an interior surface and an exterior surface, the protective vest is adapted to be worn by a wearer, a plurality of taser electrodes disposed on the exterior surface of the protective vest and a hand-held trigger in electrical communication with the taser electrodes that is adapted to activate the taser electrodes, thereby producing a taser beam to taser an attacker attacking the wearer.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a taser protection garment that provides a wearer with protection in the event that they are attacked or mugged.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a taser protection garment that features a vest designed with tasering electrodes on the outside and that is fully lined on the inside, for added protection and durability to anyone wearing it.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a taser protection garment that contains a rechargeable battery pack that produces a tasering beam, rendering an attacker motionless for a period of time (once the trigger is activated via the remote control), thereby allowing a victim to escape quickly to find safety.
- The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:
-
FIG. 1 illustrates a front view of a taser protection garment, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.
- Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention however the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.
- The phrase “in one embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.
-
FIG. 1 illustrates a front view of ataser protection garment 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
taser protection garment 100 may include aprotective vest 110, a plurality oftaser electrodes 120 and a hand-heldtrigger 130. The hand-heldtrigger 130 is secured in the hand of the wearer in a method it will not depart the hand in the case when a victim of an attack is knocked down or hit at a force that would dislodge the hand-heldtrigger 130 from the wearers hand. - The
protective vest 110 may have aninterior surface 110A and an exterior surface 1108. Theprotective vest 110 may be lightweight and is adapted to be worn by a wearer. The wearer may be a child, a woman, an elderly person or other suitable person in need of protection. Theprotective vest 110 may include aninterior liner 112 disposed on theinterior surface 110A of theprotective vest 110 to protect the wearer of theprotective vest 110 from electrical shock from thetaser electrodes 120. Thetaser electrodes 120 may be disposed on the exterior surface 1108 of theprotective vest 110. The hand-heldtrigger 130 may be in electrical communication with thetaser electrodes 120 that is adapted to activate thetaser electrodes 120, thereby producing a taser beam to taser an attacker attacking the wearer. - Use of the
taser protection garment 100 is straightforward. Thetaser protection garment 100 is placed onto a wearer's torso (adjusting as desired to fit comfortably) while holding the hand-heldtrigger 130 with either hand, activating it as needed by pulling the hand-heldtrigger 130. Thetaser protection garment 100 includes a plurality oftaser electrodes 120 that may be disposed on the exterior surface 1108 of theprotective vest 110. Thetaser protection garment 100 is essential for the everyday consumer and may be readily available in all retail apparel stores, accessory stores, and safety equipment stores. - While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention may be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.
