T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Bo it known that I, ALBERT S. WILKINSON, of Pawtucket, in the county of Providence, and State of Rhode Island, have invented a new and improved Rolling Horse-Shoe; and I do `hereby declare the following tio be a. full, clear, and exact description ot" the same, snicient to enable one skilled in the art to which the invention appertztins to make use of it, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification, in whichr Iigure 1 is a cent1-nl longitudinal section of my improved rolling shoe; and

Figure 2 is a bottom view of the same.

This invention relates to new and useful improvements in rolling shoes for hrses and other animals; and consists in a shoe plate made fuir and straight upon its upper surfaee,ancl the lower bottom surface made' convex Without calks, hat having in lieu of them thin plates of hard steel riveted -on 'to prevent rapid wem' of the rolling terminations of the shoe. l

A, figs. l and 2, is the plate of the shoe made fair and straight upon its upper surfe-ce, and having the leder or bottom face made convex, as shown clearly in the drawings, which renders the bottom face rolling. C is a. thin plate of steel, riveted or otherwise fastened to the toe of the shoe, and c c are similar steel plates attached by the rivets ff to the heels ot' the shoe. In some enses I propose to rougllen these plates of steel to give them a ragged, uneven face, so as to give them bite on hard roads.
