The Operation is as follows: Supposing theboat tovhc iu its raised or normal position, as shown by E, one person can lowerand detach it, as also attach and raise itfas follows: Say the occupant nl' the boat siinpljv turns crank J, which turns the worin-t', and it turns the wheel ll and shaft e, and the rope is unwound, and the boat is lowered.
