To ALL wHoM 1r MAY CONCERN:
`Be it known that I, M. SCHALL, of' the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new end improved Holder for Candles; and I do hereby declare that the following is o. full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled inthe art to make and use the seme, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming port of this specification.
The present invention rela-tes to e. new and improved holder for candles. wax tapers, and other similar articles, and the invention consists principally in combining with the socket to receive the end of the cendle a. sharp-pointed needle or pin, by means of which the holder can be secured in any desired position to a limb or o. branch of e tree, by simply driving or forcing such pin into and through the seid limb or bra-uch, In the accompanying plate of drawings my improved holder 'o'r candles is illustreted- Figure 1 being e side viewof the same, showing it es secured through the pin or needle to the limb or branch of a tree, and
