Be it knownthat I, DAJYID WEIsnR,'of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented an Improved Hammer; and I do hereby declare tho following to -be a full, clear, and ezactdescription of the same, reference being had to the adcompanying drawing, and to theletters of reference marked'tliereon. i

V My invention consists of a mode, described hereafter, of securing th handles to the heads of hammers, or

of other tools or implements. i
