Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sports shoe according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a sports shoe and in particular a cycling shoe that offers the foot a particularly firm and durable grip and which is still comfortable to wear.
  • the sports shoe should be inexpensive to manufacture and easily adaptable to the foot.
  • the object is achieved by the invention solved according to claim 1.
  • the shrink molded part can be shrunk with a normal hair dryer. The shrinkage takes place when the shoe is placed on the foot, so that the shrink molded part adapts exactly to the shape of the foot. Even with foot shapes that deviate greatly from the norm, an exact adaptation of the upper of the shoe is achieved in the area of the instep.
  • the shrunk molded part keeps its shape permanently even under heavy load. As a cycling shoe it is ensured that the pedaling movement of the foot is optimally transmitted to the pedal. This also applies to strong pulling and pushing movements.
  • the shrink molded part is detachably attached to the shoe. This has the advantage that a damaged or incorrectly shrunk molded part can be replaced in a simple manner.
  • the shrink-molded part on the side of the shoe runs approximately perpendicular to the plane of the sole. Corresponding side edges are provided on the sole; whereby a particularly good power transmission from the foot to the pedal is achieved. Further advantageous developments result from the remaining dependent claims.
  • Fig. 3 is a section along the line III-III in Fig. 1, and
  • Fig. 4 is a view of a shrink molded part.
  • the cycling shoe shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has a comparatively stiff sole 1 and an upper 2.
  • a flap 4 is attached to the heel of the shoe and can be folded away when the sports shoe is put on and taken off.
  • the flap 4 can, for example, be fastened to the upper part 2 with a buckle (not shown here).
  • a fixing element, not shown here, can be attached to the underside of the sole, with which the shoe can be coupled to the pedal.
  • a shrink-shaped part 3 comprising three strips 3a is arranged.
  • the strips 3a lie loosely on the upper part 2 and are each detachably connected to the sole 1 at their ends.
  • the strips 3a have a comparatively low thickness of, for example, 1 to 2 mm and are easily bendable with a comparatively high tensile strength. Films from which these strips 3a can be punched out are commercially available and are used in particular in electrical engineering for producing shrink sleeves.
  • the strips 3a to the sole 1 has outwardly projecting side edges la and lb. These side edges la and lb are dimensioned such that the ends 3c of the strips 3a run essentially perpendicular to the plane of the sole 1. As FIG.
  • this has wall parts which run vertically upwards. These are preferably molded onto the sole 1 and have grooves 1d on the outside corresponding to the number of strips 3a.
  • a cam 1c is formed on the bottom of the groove and engages through corresponding holes 3b in the strip 3a.
  • the grooves 1d have side pockets 1f into which the ends 3c are inserted on the edge side. Since the strips 3a can also be bent at their ends 3c, they can be pushed into the pockets from above and hung on the cams 1c. This connection is detachable, but nevertheless ensures good tensile strength in the longitudinal direction of the strips 3a.
  • FIG. 4 shows a shrink molded part 10 which, in contrast to the embodiment already mentioned, does not consist of individual strips but consists of a single piece.
  • extensions 10a are formed in pairs, which have holes 10b at their ends for releasably fastening the shrink molding.
  • the strip-shaped extensions 10a are fastened to the sole, the cams 1c engaging in the holes 10b.
  • the middle part 10e has a plurality of ventilation openings 10c.
  • the shrink-molded part 10 is placed over the upper part 2 in such a way that the shorter extensions 10a are closer to the tip of the foot, the length ratios of the extensions 10 being able to change in accordance with the type of sports shoe.
  • Shrink molded parts with fewer or more extensions are also conceivable.
  • a simple design is also possible, in which the shrink molded part is non-detachably connected to the sole on one or both sides.
  • the sports shoe In order to adapt the sports shoe, it is brought onto the foot with the shrink molded part 3 or 10 not yet shrunk, with the flap 4 open. With a hot air dryer or another suitable warm air device, the shrink molded part 3 or 10 is heated until it shrinks and clings to the foot until a certain tension is reached. After the shrink molded part 3 or 10 has cooled, the shoe is adapted. As a rule, the shrink molded part 3 or 10 is then no longer detached from the shoe. In the event of damage, however, the shrink molded part 3 or 10 can be loosened at any time and replaced by another.
  • the sports shoe according to the invention is preferably a cycling sports shoe, but it can also be another sports shoe in which a particularly good grip of the foot is expedient.
  • the closure part is a Velcro fastener or a tensioning strap, for example with a buckle.
