Abstract

Un dispositif sert à essuyer les vitres de véhicules à moteur. Le dispositif essuie-glace (10) comprend une lame d'essuyage (14) qui effectue un mouvement d'oscillation sur la vitre (19), sollicitée contre celle-ci par une force d'appui et dont l'élément d'essuyage (15) bascule dans une position de traînage à chaque changement de direction. Afin d'assurer un passage rapide et silencieux de l'élément d'essuyage (15) de la première à la deuxième position de fonctionnement, la force d'appui dans la région des deux positions (52, 54) d'inversion du mouvement d'oscillation est inférieure à la force d'appui qui s'exerce dans la section (17) du champ d'essuyage située entre ces régions.
