Abstract

Outil d'orientation pour le fond du puits comportant un mandrin creux (11), un manchon (12) à rotation indépendante recouvrant une partie du mandrin (11), des pistons de direction (26) portés par le manchon (12) et aptes à sortir et à s'escamoter dans le sens latéral pour entrer en contact à pression avec la paroi (28) du puits afin de diriger un outil de forage situé sous l'outil lors de son utilisation, un dispositif de verrouillage réversible (14) servant à rendre le manchon (12) solidaire en rotation du mandrin (11), ainsi qu'un dispositif de commande hydraulique (15) apte à diriger au dispositif de verrouillage (14) et aux pistons de direction (26) une portion d'un fluide en circulation dans le mandrin (11) de manière à effectuer le déverrouillage et à sortir les pistons de direction (26) à l'aide de la pression du fluide.
