Abstract

Il est proposé une unité (16) servant à l'alimentation en carburant à partir d'un réservoir (10) vers un moteur à combustion interne (20) de véhicule automobile. L'unité d'alimentation (16) comporte un moteur d'entraînement (22) électrique et une pompe d'alimentation (24) entraînée par ledit moteur. La pompe possède un corps (60) solidement fixé au carter de l'unité et formant une chambre. Dans ce corps de pompe tournent les organes mécaniques de la pompe mus par le moteur d'entraînement. On obtient une unité d'alimentation au fonctionnement particulièrement silencieux si au moins certaines pièces du corps de pompe, construit en plusieurs parties, sont fabriquées en matériau céramique.
