Abstract

Le procédé consiste: à illuminer par un rayonnement laser des plans de coupe (YZ) successifs du morceau de verre à inspecter, par déplacement relatif d'un rideau lumineux formé à partir d'une source d'éclairage de type laser et du morceau de verre à inspecter; à détecter, par une caméra, le rayonnement réfléchi émergeant du morceau de verre dans une direction d'observation oblique par rapport au plan (YZ) du rideau lumineux, de sorte que l'image formée par la caméra comporte deux lignes correspondant aux faces supérieure et inférieure du morceau de verre et éventuellement des points lumineux situés entre ces deux lignes correspondant à des inclusions dans l'épaisseur du verre. L'invention s'applique, notamment, au contrôle de qualité du verre en sortie de fabrication.
