  • the sound dampening coverings are made of moulded material a further improvement of the efficiency may conceivingly be obtained through such a design of the partitions and the coverings applied to the walls of the housing that the air slot has a circular inlet in the chamber around the fan and an outlet towards the chamber above the filter matching the side walls of the housing, e.g. quadratic.
  • the module according to the invention does not need to have a substantially square cross- section.
  • the module may for instance have an oblong cross-section with the side ratios 1:2, provided the module fits into the supporting structure in the ceiling on site of use.

Abstract

Module de ventilation et de filtrage destiné à la ventilation des salles blanches. Il comporte un boîtier conçu pour être monté dans un plafond et doté d'une paroi terminale constituée d'un filtre à haut rendement (2), l'autre paroi terminale (3) étant pourvue d'une soufflante centrifuge (5) à orifice de sortie d'air entièrement circonférentiel, associée à une voie d'entrée d'air (4). Le volume intérieur du boîtier est partagé de manière à assurer une répartition homogène et sensiblement exempte de tourbillonnement de l'air émis dans le sens radial par la soufflante (5) et passant sur la face supérieure du filtre (2). Des revêtements insonorisants sont disposés dans une chambre (6) entourant la soufflante (5). Le volume intérieur est partagé par une cloison (8) placée sous la soufflante (5) et à une certaine distance au-dessus du filtre (2), ladite cloison étant parallèle à ce dernier et dotée d'un revêtement insonorisant (9) situé du côté tourné vers la soufflante (5), et associé aux revêtements (10) des parois latérales de manière à délimiter une fente (12) sensiblement linéaire dans son sens longitudinal s'étendant de la chambre (6) entourant la soufflante à une chambre (7) située au-dessus du filtre (2; 17).
