Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de surveillance du pouls d'une personne, ledit appareil présentant au moins: un élément (11) servant à mesurer la fréquence du pouls de cette personne; des éléments (12, 30) conçus pour transmettre la fréquence de pouls mesurée à une unité de traitement (40) équipée d'un comparateur (42) permettant de comparer la fréquence de pouls mesurée avec des valeurs de référence pouvant être prédéterminées; une unité d'affichage (70) de la fréquence de pouls mesurée; et un générateur de signal (60) conçu pour générer un signal indiquant les écarts des fréquences de pouls mesurées par rapport à une plage prédéterminée par les valeurs de référence. Une mémoire (43) affectée à l'unité de traitement (40) sert à stocker des valeurs de référence minimales et maximales correspondant à certains états actifs de la personne. Cet appareil peut également comprendre des éléments (20) qui servent à déterminer l'état actif de la personne et dont les signaux peuvent être acheminés vers l'unité de traitement (40), lesdits éléments pouvant se présenter sous la forme d'un détecteur de mouvement (20).
