Abstract

A computer controlled system includes a processing architecture. The processing architecture provides for application programs to be executed as cooperating processes interacting with each other, with a control system and with the world outside this architecture. Process instances (Sender, P1, P2, P3) are distributed over control system processors (CP1, CP2, CP3) by means of distribution units (A-F, R, S).
