Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'examen optique d'au moins un filet, et notamment d'un filet de colle (2, 3) avançant en continu sur un support (1) placé dans un premier plan, selon un premier sens (4) coïncidant sensiblement avec le sens longitudinal du filet de colle. Le dispositif est constitué d'une source lumineuse (5, 6) dirigeant la lumière vers le filet de colle et d'une caméra (7) équipée, dans son plan focal, d'un détecteur (8) formant une matrice linéaire de cellules CCD, et permettant de suivre en continu l'image d'une partie du filet de colle. La caméra est conçue pour fournir à une unité de traitement du signal (9) un signal vidéo numérique correspondant. La source lumineuse est conçue pour diriger la lumière sous un angle sensiblement perpendiculaire de α° par rapport au premier sens (4), et sous un angle de β°, compris entre 0° et 90°, par rapport au premier plan (1). La caméra est dirigée sensiblement perpendiculairement droit au-dessus du filet de colle, la matrice linéaire de cellules CCD se présentant sensiblement en angle droit par rapport au premier sens. La caractéristique principale du dispositif est d'abord que l'unité de traitement du signal (9) est conçue pour stocker dans une première mémoire un signal vidéo en provenance de la caméra (7), formant en continu par intermittence un gradient. Ce gradient se combine à une information provenant d'un organe (8, 10, 11) déterminant la position du filet de colle (2, 3), et aboutissant à un tableau où cette information constitue une référence. La caractéristique principale du dispositif est ensuite que l'unité de traitement du signal (9) est conçue pour stocker, selon le même principe, dans au moins une seconde mémoire, le signal vidéo et les informations de position concernant au moins un filet de colle, de façon à réaliser, pour ces informations, un tableau spécifique. L'unité de traitement du signal (9) est conçue pour comparer en continu le second tableau avec le premier tableau, et, en cas de différence dépassant un certain niveau prédéfini, fournir un signal d'information.
