Abstract

On décrit un dispositif d'affichage (en couleurs) à base de dispositifs d'affichage à cristaux liquides ferroélectriques à hélice déformée, ainsi que des dispositifs d'affichage à base de cristaux liquides ferroélectriques présentant une structure smectique en hélice, de cristaux liquides ferroélectriques monostables, de cristaux liquides smectiques A électrocliniques et de cristaux liquides antiferroélectriques, dispositifs dans lesquels l'effet de mémoire, par exemple dans des applications vidéo, est éliminé préalablement et simultanément par un groupe de rangées. Si toutes les rangées sont préalablement remises à l'état initial en même temps, ce dispositif d'affichage peut être utilisé de façon très pertinente pour un dispositif d'affichage par projection du type en couleurs à séquence de trames.
