Abstract

Détecteur acoustique (52) permettant de détecter la qualité d'une huile ou d'un lubrifiant contenu dans une machine (30). Le détecteur acoustique (52) peut contenir un élément piézo-électrique (56) conçu comme un résonateur et permettant de signaler tout changement intervenu dans la propriété d'une huile ou d'un liquide lubrifiant en fonction de la fréquence de résonance. Un tel détecteur (52) peut se placer dans un moteur (32) comportant un système de lubrification (40) et couplé à un processeur (62) de signaux permettant d'indiquer le moment où le lubrifiant se dégrade au point de nécessiter son remplacement. Le processeur (62) peut faire partie d'un système de surveillance (60) comprenant un dispositif de sortie (66) donnant des indications. Selon une autre réalisation, le détecteur (52) est utilisé pour détecter la viscosité d'une huile ou d'un lubrifiant contenu dans une machine in situ.
