Definitions

  • the invention relates to a nozzle-hose connection, with a nozzle and a hose to be connected or connected to the nozzle with a hose end.
  • Nozzle-hose connections have been extensively known for decades, if not more than a century, in many industrial areas, in the household and commercial sector, in particular also in the field of motor vehicle technology.
  • the household and commercial sector include e.g. B. dishwashers, washing machines and cleaning machines of other types, which have extensive nozzle-hose connections.

  • Pipe-hose connections may have always been carried out in the manner described in the introduction, that is to say with a hose end plugged onto the socket or with a socket arranged inside the hose end, because it was believed that only when the hose end was open the connector is attached, you can adequately fasten the hose end on the connector. This does not take into account the fact that connection-hose connections are "under pressure" during operation.
  • This operational "negative pressure” means that the hose end arranged according to the invention within the socket - due to the internal pressure and also because the hose end, as a rule the hose as a whole, is elastic - presses against the socket surrounding the hose end, so that the required seal between the hose end and the nozzle and also the required fixation of the hose end in the nozzle is easily ensured.
