Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour faire des achats de produits dans un magasin self-service ou pour transporter des bagages, comprenant des chariots de transport emboîtables les uns dans les autres (30) et au moins un point collecteur pour le parcage des chariots, lesdits chariots (30) étant entreposés en au moins deux rangées pour un seul point collecteur et en au moins une rangée par point collecteur, dans le cas où il existe au moins deux points collecteurs. Le dispositif est utilisé exclusivement pour un seul centre, par exemple, un magasin self-service. Chaque chariot de transport (30) est équipé d'éléments d'accouplement (1, 1') verrouillables, par l'intermédiaire d'un élément enfichable (13, 13'), avec les éléments d'accouplement (1, 1') d'un autre chariot (30), et peut être détaché d'un second chariot (30) afin de pouvoir être emprunté moyennant le versement d'un dépôt. Les éléments d'accouplement (1, 1') sont pourvus de moyens permettant la formation de différents types d'éléments d'accouplement, de façon que seuls des chariots (30) équipés d'accouplements de même type peuvent être verrouillés et déverrouillés, l'un des moyens étant formé par une pièce de guidage (9) pouvant s'ajuster à l'élément d'accouplement (1, 1'), cette pièce de guidage présentant une ouverture (10) ayant la forme de la section transversale de la tige d'un élément enfichable (13, 13'). En outre, le nombre de rangées est identique au nombre des différents types d'éléments d'accouplement (1, 1'), chaque rangée présentant un nombre prédéterminé de chariots (30), cependant que soit les chariots, soit les éléments d'accouplements (1, 1') présentent des marques spécifiques de chaque rangée. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que chaque pièce de guidage (9) est disposée en une seule position prédéterminée et est bloquée en rotation sur les éléments d'accouplement (1, 1'), et en ce que le nombre des différents types d'éléments d'accouplement (1, 1') correspond au nombre des différents types de pièces de guidage (9).
