Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à l'utilisation dans un fluide de forage d'une solution saline aqueuse saturée qui contient au moins un sel de type formiate et au moins un sel de type bromure. Ladite solution saline aqueuse saturée comporte 40 à 50 % en poids d'eau et 50 à 60 % en poids desdits sels avec un rapport pondéral du formiate au bromure compris entre 30 :70 et 60 :40. Les sels préférés sont des formiates et des bromures de métaux alcalins. Ladite solution saline aqueuse saturée possède une densité et une concentration globale en sels supérieures à celles d'une solution aqueuse saturée du sel de type bromure.
