Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une famille de polypeptides bactériens qui sont considérés indispensables à la croissance à la fois de bactéries Gram positives et de bactéries Gram négatives. Cette famille a été identifiée à l'aide d'un certain nombre de méthodes mettant en oeuvre des algorithmes informatiques. L'invention se rapporte également à l'utilisation de ces polypeptides et des gènes codant pour ces polypeptides en tant qu'outils d'identification de nouveaux antibiotiques à large spectre.
