Abstract

Dispositif de gonflage compact, c'est-à-dire très mince, et composition génératrice de gaz destinée à ce dernier. La composition génératrice de gaz contient un polymère azido, un agent de polymérisation et un comburant. Ces trois constituants sont de préférence combinés dans des proportions suffisantes pour générer, au moment de la combustion à une pression comprise entre la pression atmosphérique et une pression de 1000 psi supérieure à la pression atmosphérique et de préférence supérieure d'environ 250 psi à la pression atmosphérique, au moins environ 900 litres par seconde d'un produit de combustion sensiblement non nocif et non toxique. La composition génératrice de gaz, qui est facultativement placée sur un substrat, peut être mise en contact avec une couche d'une matière favorisant l'amorçage adaptée pour transmettre la chaleur à la composition génératrice de gaz et faciliter ainsi la combustion de cette dernière.
