Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système horodateur et le procédé associé pour un réseau cellulaire de télécommunications (10), dans lequel un noeud principal de répartition (20) reçoit une unique base de temps d'une source (24) fiable telle qu'un terminal GPS et la retransmet à plusieurs noeuds secondaires (22a-22c) du système cellulaire via le réseau de signalisation (14) du réseau de télécommunications. Au reçu de la base de temps, les noeuds secondaires peuvent synchroniser leurs propres horloges internes (23a-23c), ce qui évite les dérives de temps entre noeuds collaborant. La séquence de synchronisation peut être commandée manuellement ou automatiquement depuis le noeud principal ou les noeuds secondaires.
