Abstract

Elle concerne un dispositif servant à classer des pages sur un réseau par catégories et comprenant des mécanismes servant à déterminer si la page concerne des transactions commerciales ou indique des renseignements, si ces renseignements concernent un sujet spécifique ou si des types particuliers de fichiers lui sont associés. Elle concerne également un procédé servant à rechercher des renseignements sur un réseau. Ce procédé consiste à limiter la recherche à des catégories concernant le commerce et des renseignements, des sujets spécifiques ou des types de fichiers et à limiter la recherche par code. Il consiste également à identifier des pages situées à l'intérieur des catégories sélectionnées et contenant le code et à faire état des résultats de la recherche. Elle concerne également un dispositif servant à rechercher des renseignements sur un réseau.
