Abstract
Ce générateur d'aérosol destiné à l'extinction d'incendies se distingue en ce qu'il se présente comme une unité constituée d'éléments de même type reliés en série. Chaque élément de l'unité se présente comme un corps cylindrique comportant des orifices d'éjection situés dans sa surface latérale, un tube métallique central avec des orifices latéraux et une composition à formation d'aérosol. Les éléments adjacents de l'unités sont reliés entre eux au moyen de douilles cylindriques comportant un filetage et un orifice traversant qui se vissent dans les tubes des générateurs voisins. Les extrémités libres du tube central traversant sont obturées d'un côté par l'unité de lancement avec une composition d'allumage et de l'autre par un couvercle métallique. Le nombre de générateurs dans une unité dépend de la productivité requise. L'invention concerne une composition à formation d'aérosol destinée à l'extinction d'incendies se présentant comme un mélange d'oxydant, de combustible et de liant. Elle se distingue en ce que la quantité de liant combustible est réduite au minimum voire en ce qu'il est éliminé totalement, et ce grâce à l'introduction dans la composition d'un additif combustible capable de brûler conjointement avec du nitrure de sodium.
