Abstract
L'invention concerne une loterie promotionnelle effectuée à distance par l'intermédiaire d'un support de communication. Cette loterie promotionnelle utilise un serveur principal qui coordonne les clients et choisit un gagnant. La loterie utilise également un serveur de collecte pour chacun de ses clients de manière à recueillir les données transmises par les utilisateurs des serveurs clients. Les serveurs de collecte masquent les serveurs clients auxquels ils sont connectés de manière à donner l'impression que l'utilisateur n'a pas quitté le serveur client. Chaque tirage de loterie comprend deux parties. La première partie est une sélection du client (64). Dans la seconde partie, un utilisateur qui entre des données dans le système en accédant au serveur de collecte par l'intermédiaire du client sélectionné, est sélectionné (66). De cette façon, chaque client bénéficie d'une même chance de voir un de ses utilisateurs gagner le tirage de la loterie promotionnelle, indépendamment du nombre d'utilisateurs par site client.
