Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de couplage d'une pluralité de premières fibres optiques avec une pluralité de secondes fibres optiques. Ce système présente une pluralité de premiers connecteurs de fibres optiques pour la couplage optique des premières fibres optiques et une pluralité de seconds connecteurs de fibres optiques pour le couplage optique des secondes fibres optiques. Chacun des premiers connecteurs de fibres optiques peut être couplé optiquement avec chacun des seconds connecteurs de fibres optiques au moyen d'une fibre optique de couplage. De plus, une unité de détection de couplage est agencée de sorte à pouvoir détecter si un premier connecteur de fibres optiques est couplé optiquement avec un second connecteur de fibres optiques par une fibre optique de couplage, au moyen d'un canal supplémentaire au canal optique produit par une des fibres optiques, lequel canal supplémentaire est produit par les fibres optiques de couplage.
