That is to say the products that have just been injection-moulded are also removed during the swinging movement. More particularly, these pick-up means, which, for example, can be suction cups by means of which the product is engaged, are so constructed that these are able to execute a separate movement with respect to the swinging arm. Partly as a result of this it is possible appreciably to simplify the movement path of the mould halves. In the state of the art it is customary with certain devices to allow the mould to open twice, once for removal of the product and once for introduction of the label. With other constructions the mould opens only once but over an appreciable distance, which is also time-consuming.

  • the hinging movement is controlled with a belt 17 that engages on a gear wheel connected to auxiliary arm 13 and on the other hand is driven via a series of gear wheels and belts, couplings and the like by a motor 10.

  • Mandrel 14 is then moved out of the range of the mould sections by moving the two swinging arm sections 20 and 21, as shown in Fig. 6. During this operation the product remains at the pivot point of the two swinging arm sections. This movement is continued until the final position according to Fig. 7 is obtained. In this position the mandrel 14 can take up a new label (that is preferably placed upside down) in a manner that is not shown in more detail and bucket 5 can be removed.

Abstract

Dispositif (1) permettant de placer une étiquette (15) dans un moule (3). Un mandrin (14) fixé à un bras oscillant (8) comportant deux parties de bras oscillant (20,2) se déplace d'une position située au-dessus de la cavité du moule vers une position située sur le devant de la cavité du moule, et est introduit dans la cavité du moule à l'aide de moyens de déplacement linéaires. Les produits sont retirés du moule par des moyens de retrait (16) montés sur le bras oscillant (8) et pouvant se déplacer par rapport au bras oscillant à l'aide d'un bras auxiliaire (13).
