Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'optimisation d'interrogations hiérarchisées dans des applications analytiques. Le procédé consiste à diviser en plusieurs sous-instructions une interrogation hiérarchisée construite par un usager. Ces sous-instructions sont fondées sur la relation entre la clé étrangère et des attributs de hiérarchisation d'une table de données, et sont exécutées en tant que lot d'instructions. A mesure que des données utilisables sont extraites de chaque sous-instruction, elles sont stockées et la clé étrangère est utilisée comme un filtre pour l'interrogation suivante dans le lot. Cette procédure élimine la possibilité d'accéder à des données non pertinentes et facilite l'opération d'interrogation. A l'ultime étape du procédé, les données extraites sont regroupées afin de limiter au minimum le nombre d'opérations de regroupement effectué par l'interrogation alors que le lot est en cours d'exécution, ce qui facilite le processus d'interrogation.
