Description

ARMBAND FOR HOLDING FASTENING PIECES
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to an armband for holding fastening pieces, and more particularly to a detachable armband for holding the fastening pieces.
BACKGROUND ART
Generally, in case of working with fastening pieces, such as nails, screws, pins, bolts, nuts, rivets, linking strings made of metal materials, etc, a user should hold, for instance, a plurality of the screws in his mouth or pocket, and take them out of his mouth or pocket one by one for fastening working.
It is very insanitary to hold the screws in his mouth, and such an act of taking the screws out of his pocket may cause any danger to get his finger pricked with the screw or difficulty of taking-out one by one since it is not able to be seen by the eye. Also, there is a drawback that it takes much time to bring the screws from the receiving box due to a distance difference between the box and a working location, thereby providing no efficient flow of working. Therefore, in order to solve the above drawbacks, an armband disclosed in
Korean Utility Model Publication No. 1998-57048 has been created and used. The above armband includes a board having an adhesive member at both ends thereof, to one side of which a permanent magnet is sticked. It is not easy to wear it on the wrist or arm due to poor flexibility of the permanent magnet. Also, at the top and sides of the magnet which is extended from the central portion of the armband, nails, screws, etc. , are attracted in a mixed state with one another, and thus there are drawbacks that the upward exposure of their pointed portions threatens security of a user and that it is not easy to detach nails or screws from the magnet for working.
Also, there is a drawback that the nails or screws attracted to the permanent magnet should be removed from the armband one by one by the user after the working is finished.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a detachable armband, in which a much variety of fastening pieces are sticked to a PVC magnet in the form of a thin plate which can be manufactured to have flexibility and wide width, thereby offering the easiness of wearing.
Further, the present invention can adjust a magnetic force of the PVC magnet properly, in which the magnetic force greatly acts on the fastening pieces in a laid-down state, but does not fully act on the fastening pieces with their pointed portions upward, thereby providing the safety of a user and efficiency of working.
The present invention comprises a detachable cover at the top of a magnet, to which nails or screws can be sticked. When the working is finished, the nails or screws can be detached from the armband by just folding the cover over.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 2. is a perspective view showing the construction of a holding band 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The first embodiment explains the most basic construction of the holding band according t o the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 2, the holding hand 1 comprises a PVC magnet 10 in the form of a thin plate, at both ends of which rectangular linking elements 12 are formed integrally. A strap assembly 20 having a Velcro tape 22 is linked to the linking elements 12.
The holding band 1 of the first embodiment provides a very simple construction and easy manufacture, but has a drawback of poor durability of the linking elements 12 in view of the material of the PVC magnet 10 which is currently developed and used. There is no special problem to use the fastening pieces A sticked to the surface of the PVC magnet 10 during working. However, the holding hand 1 of the first embodiment has another drawback that the user has to separate the fastening pieces from the PVC magnet 10 one by one after working.
Therefore, in order to solve the drawbacks of the first embodiment of the present invention, another holding hand 1 is designed as shown in FIG. 3. The same reference numerals are assigned to the same elements as those in the first embodiment shown in FIG. 2.
So as to solve the weakness of the PVC magnet 10 and difficulty of separation of the fastening pieces after working, the second embodiment of the present invention comprises a board 110 having rectangular linking elements 12. A PVC magnet 10 is securely held in the board 110, the surface of which is covered with a cover 40 adhered to the board 110.
The cover 40, as shown in FIG. 6, is uncovered in an adhered state of the fastening pieces, and then the fastening pieces are easily separated from the holding band 1 beyond the magnetic force of the PVC magnet 10. A strap assembly 20 includes a strip 21 made of a rubber material of good elasticity.
The board 110 is made of plastic and includes a recess portion 114 formed at the surface thereof, in which the PVC magnet 10 is secured. The recess portion 114 prevents the PVC magnet 10 from being moved. FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of the holding band according to the third embodiment of the present invention. A board 110 is made of cloth or leather, at both ends of which a strap assembly 20 is formed. At one end of the board 110 a strap 210 having a rectangular linking ring 211 is formed, and at the other end thereof a strap 200 having a Velcro strip 220 with a rough surface and a soft surface is disposed.
The strap 200 is latched to the linking ring 211 of the strap 210 and is adjusted according to the size of the wrist or arm of the user.
The third embodiment of the present invention provides a protective sheet 30, for preventing the PVC magnet 10 mounted in the board 110 from being exposed to the external. At this time, in order to supplement the poor magnetic force, a plurality of permanent magnets 112 can be disposed under the PVC magnet 10. It is preferable to connect the protective sheet
30 and the board 110 with a sewing portion 60 formed by sewing, and also a variety of applications such as thermal treatment, an adhesive, etc. can be made therefor. A sheet 111 having holes I l ia which are spaced at a certain interval is provided on the board 110. The permanent magnets 112 are disposed at the holes I l ia of the sheet 111 , respectively. The holes I l ia of the sheet 111 are designed to secure the permanent magnets 112 without attraction between the magnets or movement thereof. For strong adhesion between the board 110 and the permanent magnets 112, an adhesive tape 111b of textile material can be disposed under the sheet 111.
Accordingly, the cover 40 is placed on the protective sheet 30, and a
Velcro tape 41 is attached to the protective sheet 30 and the cover 40 to maintain the cover 40 to be sticked. FIG. 10 is a view showing the holding band 1 of the first to third embodiments having a grasping member 70, in which the grasping members 70 is linked to the board 110 through a linking member 70a.
Also, the holding band 1 of the present invention can be attached at any desirous location of working clothes with the grasping member 70 as shown in FIG. 11 or other linking members, without the strap assembly 20 for wearing on the user's arm or wrist.
The holding band 1 of the present invention having the above construction allows the fastening pieces A, such as nails, screws, pins, bolts, nuts, rivets, linking strings made of metal materials to be sticked to the surface thereof before working. At this time, the fastening pieces are sticked in the range as much as the magnetic force reaches, and are maintained in a laid-down state under the adjustment of the magnetic force.
The holding band 1 to which a great deal of fastening pieces is sticked is attached at any desirous location on the user's body. At this time, it is preferable for the user to wear the holding band 1 suitably according to the working location and distance, without limiting to a specific location of the body. Finally, after the working is finished, the fastening pieces A which remain at the holding band 1 are separated from the holding band 1, by folding the cover 40 over.
As described above, the present invention provides the holding band to which a lot of fastening pieces can be sticked. The holding band provides effects of the sticking of a lot of fastening pieces, adjustment of the magnetic force and easiness of wearing, by using the flexible PVC magnet in the form of the thin plate.
Accordingly, the holding band of the present invention prevents the fastening pieces from being sticked in the mixed state with one another or in condition of upward protrusion of their pointed portions, thereby promoting the working efficiency and user's safety.
Furthermore, the present invention supplements the poor durability of the PVC magnet with the cover, protective sheet and board, and provides the convenience of wearing with a rubber band, strip band, grasping member, etc. , and easier separation of the fastening pieces from the holding band after working, thereby providing further promoted efficiency of the working.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
The present invention allows fastening pieces such as screws, nails, etc. for fastening panels and timbers in the construction field and those such as bolts and nuts for fastening in the mechanical field to be easily kept and carried. Also, the present invention can provide the easiness of keeping and carrying of metal linking strings for binding fruits in the agricultural field, thereby offering the working efficiency.
