Abstract

Selon la présente invention, on manipule des informations graphiques selon un dispositif de calcul sur lequel des informations graphiques doivent être affichées. Les aptitudes de ce dispositif de calcul sont utilisées pour qu'un ensemble de contraintes soit formé pour les informations graphiques obtenues à partir d'un fournisseur de contenu. Ces contraintes prennent en compte des facteurs tels que les caractéristiques d'affichage du dispositif de calcul, la puissance de traitement, la mémoire disponible et les capacité de communication. Les informations graphiques sont manipulées de manières qu'elles soient en conformité avec l'ensemble de contraintes, ce qui permet d'obtenir des informations graphiques pouvant être affichées et interprétées par le dispositif de calcul.
