Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de mise à jour automatique de structures de données mémoire. Dans un mode de réalisation, on détermine si une structure de données existante résidant dans la mémoire d'un dispositif informatique correspond à une ancienne édition d'un produit logiciel (300). Un identificateur d'édition situé dans la mémoire du dispositif informatique est utilisé pour une telle détermination. Si la détermination est positive, des informations de configuration définies par l'utilisateur et stockées dans la structure de données existante sont rassemblées (308). De plus, la structure de données existante est changée en une nouvelle structure de données associée à une nouvelle édition du produit logiciel et les informations de configuration rassemblées sont chargées dans la nouvelle structure de données (312).
