Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil prothèse auditive implantable amélioré et un procédé de fabrication associé. Cet appareil et ce procédé utilisent des techniques d'électrodéposition pour produire une étanchéité améliorée des composants implantés. Dans un mode de réalisation de l'invention, un appareil comprend au moins un premier et un deuxième élément de boîtier de composants de prothèse auditive possédant au moins une couche électrodéposée chevauchant des parties contiguës de ces éléments de boîtier de façon à offrir une étanchéité hermétique entre ces éléments. Dans un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention, un appareil comprend un élément de boîtier de composants de prothèse auditive formé par électrodéposition, qui possède une pluralité de couches électrodéposées, dont au moins deux couches contiguës sont constituées de matériaux différents ( par exemple pour produire des caractéristiques fonctionnelles améliorées). A titre d'exemple principal, un soufflet creux de n'importe quel actionneur implantable dans l'oreille moyenne peut être formé par électrodéposition séquentielle de couches multiples sur un mandrin en forme qui est ensuite sélectivement retiré ( par exemple via un fluide d'extraction).
