Abstract

The invention concerns a fixing device for flat materials, in particular glass panes (16), which are fixed by force-closure and form-closure to profiled sections, angle sections, mobile strips, hinges or fittings. Therefor, it consists in producing in the glass pane (6) a through hole (18) in the form of a tapered hole (18, 19) or a stepped hole (23, 24). The tapered hole (18, 19) or the stepped hole (23, 24) houses an insert (5, 21, 22, 10, 28, 31) wherein is inserted a through screw, in particular a screw with cylindrical head (3) or a screw with truncated head, with a clearance all around to enable the glass pane to be adjusted before being fixed by force-closure.
