Abstract
An air conditioner comprising adsorbing elements (81, 82) each having a humidity-control part passage (85) containing an adsorbent in contact with the circulated air and a cooling part passage (86) through which the air is circulated to deprive of the adsorption heat of the humidity-control part passage (85) and heating means (92) for heating the air to regenerate the adsorbing elements (81, 82). The air used to regenerate the adsorbing elements (81, 82) is supplied into a room. The heating means (92) heats the air fed into the humidity-control part passage (85) of the adsorbing elements (81, 82) so that the regeneration temperature of the adsorbing elements (81, 82) may be below 55°C.
