Abstract

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour actionner des soupapes de moteurs, ces systèmes comprenant des culbuteurs primaire et auxiliaire montés adjacents sur un axe de culbuteur. Un ensemble d'accouplement de culbuteur est disposé entre le culbuteur auxiliaire et le culbuteur primaire. Cet ensemble d'accouplement comprend un piston comportant une surface incurvée dans un alésage formé dans le culbuteur primaire, et une rainure dans un deuxième rayon de la courbe formée dans le culbuteur auxiliaire. Le piston peut être bloqué hydrauliquement de manière sélective en une position ouverte entre les culbuteurs primaire et auxiliaire, de façon à transférer de manière sélective un ou plusieurs mouvements d'activation de soupape auxiliaire du culbuteur auxiliaire au culbuteur primaire.
