Abstract

Beim Einführen eines chirurgischen Arbeitsinstrumentes (20) in einen Arbeitskanal (12) eines Endoskops (10) muss die Bedienungsperson wissen, wann das distale Ende des Arbeitsinstru­mentes aus dem distalen Ende des Arbeitskanals hervortritt und so in den sichtbaren Bereich einer Beobachtungseinrichtung des Endoskops gelangt. Es wird hierfür eine Vorrichtung vorgeschlagen, umfassend einen Generator zur Erzeugung eines Messsignals, Einrichtungen zum Einkoppeln des Messsignals in den Arbeitskanal und/oder das Ar­beitsinstrument und/oder das Endoskop und eine Messeinrichtung zum Messen einer Positionswirkung, weiche das Arbeitsinstrument (20) entsprechend seiner Position im Arbeits­kanal (12) auf das Messsignal ausübt und zum Erzeugen eines Anzeigesignals in Abhängigkeit von der Wirkung.
