Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un boîtier de bureau intégrant une fonction téléphonique et une fonction d'ordinateur personnel. Le boîtier de bureau exécute la fonction téléphonique à l'aide d'un réseau selon un protocole de voix sur IP et exécute la fonction d'ordinateur personnel en permettant la commande à distance par un utilisateur d'un ordinateur personnel au niveau d'un site éloigné à l'aide d'un protocole de bureau éloigné. Le boîtier de bureau comporte: un combiné pour la transmission d'un signal vocal d'un utilisateur vers un correspondant, et la transmission d'un signal vocal du correspondant vers l'utilisateur; un module entrée/sortie pour la transmission/réception d'information vers/depuis les dispositif périphériques de l'ordinateur personnel, qui reçoivent un signal en provenance de l'utilisateur et affichent le résultat du signal d'entrée d'utilisateur reçu pour l'utilisateur; une mémoire comprenant une puce dans laquelle sont contenus un protocole de voix sur IP pour la mise en oeuvre d'une fonction téléphonique à l'aide du combiné et un protocole de bureau éloigné pour la mise en oeuvre d'une fonction d'ordinateur personnel à l'aide du module entrée/sortie; un module de commande pour le contrôle d'informations d'opérations entrée/sortie associées à un réseau selon le protocole de voix sur IP et le protocole de bureau éloigné stockés dans la mémoire; et un module de réseau pour la transmission d'information nécessaire à l'utilisation d'un téléphone ou d'un ordinateur personnel commun vers le réseau ou la réception de la même information depuis le réseau en fonction du signal de commande du module de commande.
