Abstract

The invention relates to a prosthetic open-work knit fabric (1) for treating urinary incontinence and/or prolapses based on an arrangement of threads of a biocompatible polymeric material comprising at least one first lap defining a first pillar stitch weave, characterized in that this arrangement of threads also comprises at least two unmeshed inlay laps, the number of pillar stitch threads of this pillar stitch weave ranging from 6 to 12. The invention also relates to a support implant for treating stress incontinence and/or prolapses that is obtained from this knit fabric as well as to the method for producing a knit fabric of this type.
