Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de conversion de fichier de vidéodisque en contenu VOD (vidéo sur demande) comprenant un gestionnaire de navigation modifiée (204) qui génère une représentation hiérarchique (206) de données logiques d'un disque permettant l'interaction utilisateur. La représentation hiérarchique comporte un format VOD utilisable par un récepteur de vidéo sur demande. Le dispositif comprend également un codeur de contenu (240) qui code un contenu du vidéodisque au format VOD de sorte que ce format simule l'interactivité et les caractéristiques du vidéodisque optique dans le récepteur de vidéo sur demande.
