Abstract
本発明は、焼成後、未研磨の状態において平滑な表面を有し、光線透過特性が高い窒化アルミニウム焼結体を提供することを目的としている。 本発明に係る窒化アルミニウム焼結体は、酸素濃度が450ppm以下、酸素、窒素、アルミニウム以外の不純物元素濃度が350ppm以下であり、平均結晶粒径が2μm~20μmであり、更に、焼成後、未研磨の状態において、表面の算術平均高さRaが1μm以下であり、最大高さRzが10μm以下であることを特徴としている。
