Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un système de communication de données de projection de films en cours de vol évolutif, échelonnable et modulaire. Dans un mode de réalisation, une unité interchangeable de ligne serveur/commutateur comportant au moins un serveur, au moins un élément de commutation et une pluralité d'émetteurs/récepteurs optiques communique avec une pluralité d'unités d'affichage vidéo de sièges de passagers sur des câbles de fibres optiques. Un serveur, tel que par exemple, un serveur audio, un serveur vidéo, un serveur audio/vidéo, un serveur de jeux, un serveur d'applications, un serveur de fichiers et analogues, fournit des données, (par exemple, émissions de divertissements données de fichiers Internet et analogues) à l'unité d'affichage vidéo. Dans un mode de réalisation, une unité de commutateur hybride assure une communication souple entre un ou des serveurs et les sièges de passagers.
