Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble spéculum vaginal qui comprend un système de lames servant à ouvrir le vagin, lequel système présente une première lame (1) et une seconde lame (2) pouvant être séparées physiquement l'une de l'autre, ainsi qu'un mécanisme d'injection servant à appliquer un marqueur de diagnostic sur la surface du tissu examiné, lequel mécanisme présente une sonde d'injection (7). La séparation des première et seconde lames n'influe par sur la direction d'application du marqueur de diagnostic par la sonde d'injection et cette sonde d'injection (7) permet ainsi d'appliquer le marqueur de diagnostic, de façon sensiblement homogène, sur une zone désirée dans le tissu vaginal ou cervical examiné, quel que soit le degré de séparation des lames (1, 2). Cette sonde peut être une buse produisant une configuration d'injection désirée. Ladite sonde peut être fixée à une tige d'extension pouvant être accouplée mécaniquement aux lames du spéculum. Des moyens d'imagerie optique et électronique, des moyens d'éclairage et des outils de traitement peuvent être montés sur la tige d'extension, laquelle tige peut être fixée, de manière réversible, à des systèmes de positionnement mécanique ou à des dispositifs d'imagerie utilisés en colposcopie. Cet ensemble spéculum peut être utilisé comme outil dans des examens de diagnostic et de dépistage ainsi que dans le traitement de néoplasies cervicales et vaginales.
