Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes (10, 110) permettant de traiter de façon sensiblement continue un matériau broyé (28) contenant du carbone et de l'hydrogène, par exemple des pneus usés. Les procédés comprennent les étapes consistant à introduire le matériau de pneu dans une chambre allongée (12, 112), transférer le matériau de pneu (28) à travers la chambre allongée, le chauffer à une température suffisante pour le pyrolyser afin de générer un courant gazeux, évacuer le courant gazeux de la chambre, et refroidir au moins une partie du courant gazeux pour liquéfier ses composants. Le transfert peut être assuré par un transporteur à vis sans fin flexible, sans pointe (18A, 18B, 18C) afin de minimiser l'accumulation de matériau dans la cuve. Le refroidissement du courant gazeux peut être réalisé par condensation inverse. Certains aspects de l'invention concernent un ou plusieurs courants de combustible réutilisable.
