Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de liquéfaction d'un courant hydrocarbure comme le gaz naturel à partir d'un courant d'alimentation (10) comprenant au moins les phases consistant à : (a) faire passer le courant d'alimentation (10) contre un réfrigérant mélangé en circulation à travers un échangeur thermique (12), pour produire un courant hydrocarbure au moins partiellement liquéfié (20) présentant une température inférieure à -100°C; (b) évacuer de l'échangeur thermique (12) le réfrigérant mélangé comme courant de réfrigérant de sortie liquide et vapeur (80); (c) faire passer le courant de réfrigérant de sortie liquide et vapeur (80) à travers un premier séparateur (18) pour produire un courant de réfrigérant vapeur (90) et un courant de réfrigérant liquide (110); (d) recycler sans échange thermique sensible le courant de réfrigérant liquide (110) de la phase (c) dans l'échangeur thermique (12) de la phase (a); (e) comprimer le courant de réfrigérant vapeur (90) pour produire un courant de réfrigérant comprimé (95); (f) refroidir le courant de réfrigérant comprimé (95) pour produire un courant comprimé refroidi (100) présentant une température inférieure à 0°C; et (g) recycler le courant comprimé refroidi (100) dans l'échangeur thermique (12) de la phase (a).
