- Remote control device multimedia system and method for operating mobile storage device
- the invention belongs to the field of digital multimedia, and in particular relates to a remote control device, a multimedia system and a method for operating a mobile storage device. Background of the invention
- set-top boxes There are many types of set-top boxes at present. There are two types of set-top boxes commonly used in the home: one is a digital TV set-top box, and the other is an IP TV set-top box.
- the digital TV set-top box based on "Digital TV Transmission” uses the existing cable TV network for digital broadcasting. It can only provide broadcast mode and cannot realize on-demand broadcasting.
- the IP TV set-top box based on "streaming” can not only realize broadcasting, but also Can achieve on-demand.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the existing digital TV set top box.
- the working process of the digital TV set-top box is as follows:
- the digital TV set-top box selects the channel through the network interface module, performs demodulation and channel decoding processing, and outputs MPEG-2 (Moving Picture Expert Group 2, Motion Picture Experts Group Standard Second Edition) multi-program transmission.
- Stream data sent to the demultiplexer.
- the demultiplexer extracts the packaged video and audio elementary stream (PES) data of a program from the MPEG-2 transport stream data, including video PES, audio PES, and auxiliary data PES.
- PES packaged video and audio elementary stream
- the demultiplexer includes a descrambling engine that descrambles the scrambled data at the transport stream layer and the PES layer.
- the demultiplexer outputs the descrambled video and audio PES.
- the video PES is sent to the video decoder, and the MPEG-2 video data is taken out and decoded, output to an analog encoder, encoded into an analog video signal, and output through a video output circuit.
- the audio PES is sent to the audio decoder, the MPEG-2 audio data is taken out and decoded, the PCM audio data is output to the audio D/A (digital/analog) converter, and the audio D/A converter outputs the analog stereo audio signal, via the audio. Output circuit output.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the basic structure of the existing digital TV set-top box software.
- Operating system The system generally uses a real-time operating system, which mainly performs process scheduling, interrupt management, memory allocation, inter-process communication, exception handling, and clock extraction.
- the hardware driver provides drivers for peripheral hardware devices, including I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) bus, asynchronous serial communication port, parallel communication port, nonvolatile memory, keyboard, remote control, tuner, channel decoding module, etc. .
- the graphical interface is mainly used to complete the graphic display function, in order to provide users with a friendly graphical user interface. Audio decoding and video decoding drivers are used to control the operation of audio decoding and video decoding hardware.
- Demultiplexing and data table extraction are mainly the control of code stream demultiplexing and data table extraction operations.
- the application programming interface maps all hardware-related low-level functions to a unified interface and provides hardware-independent public processing functions such as network protocols, graphical format analysis, and business information table analysis.
- the conditional reception driver is used to complete the work and software interface of the conditional reception process.
- the application programming interface provides a common programming interface for the application, shielding the application from the hardware, making the application hardware-independent and facilitating application portability.
- the IP TV set-top box includes a core control unit, a media processing unit, and various types of interfaces.
- the core control unit typically uses an embedded system processor chip that can run a real-time operating system.
- the media processing unit generally selects an ASIC (application specific integrated circuits) dedicated decoding chip or a digital signal processor according to the cost of the set top box, and also implements using software decoding.
- the IP TV set-top box interface is more abundant than other TV set-top boxes.
- the network communication interface can be configured as a high-speed Ethernet interface, ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) interface or wireless LAN interface, or even EPON, depending on the network access mode.
- the media playback interface is basically equipped with a composite audio and video terminal and an S terminal.
- the higher configuration may have a YpbPr interface (progressive color difference output interface), a YCbCr interface (interlaced color difference output interface), and a digital audio output interface.
- the control interface refers to the interface that the user operates and controls the set-top box. Infrared remote control devices are mainly used, and infrared remote control keyboards or WiFi (public wireless local area network) technology are also available.
- various peripherals and expansion interfaces such as USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface, serial interface, Z interface, smart card interface, etc., can be configured according to business needs. interface.
- USB Universal Serial Bus
- FIG 4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the existing IP TV set-top box software.
