Abstract

A base station which is used in the system in which each wireless communication in a plurality of frequency bands can be performed and controls communication with a mobile station located in a cell. The base station selects one frequency band among the plurality of frequency bands based on information about a state of the mobile station sent from the mobile station and instructs the mobile station to perform communication by using a channel in the selected frequency band.
