Abstract

 移動通信システムで使用される基地局装置は、リファレンス信号を生成する手段と、リファレンス信号を含む送信シンボルを生成する手段と、送信シンボルをセクタ毎に送信する手段と、無線伝搬状況を監視する手段とを有する。少なくとも隣接セルと自セルの間で異なる非直交な符合系列で構成される第1系列に第2系列を乗算することで、リファレンス信号が生成される。第2系列を、セクタ間で異なる直交符合系列で又は非直交な符合系列で構成するかは、無線伝搬状況に応じて決定される。
