Definitions

  • the previously predominantly used bulbs eg colored RGB LEDs
  • the previously predominantly used bulbs are mounted to achieve a greater light intensity of the displays (eg also for daytime operation) in such a high density that despite the relatively low energy consumption of the individual LEDs for the entire display ultimately a very high electrical connection value (often even more than 1 kw) per square meter of illuminated area is required.
  • the power consumption of the lighting equipment of these systems which is based on the square meter of the display area, has dropped so much that the structural combination of energy yield area (for example of photovoltaic generators) and light pixel matrix now allows the construction of largely energy self-sufficient solar media modules.
  • the area-based values of power generation and electricity consumption can now be coordinated.
  • main claim 1 sets forth two state-of-the-art systems, namely the development of large, low power, light-emitting display systems for outdoor use with the development of lighter, more effective and more flexible photovoltaic generator systems to a new energy self-sufficient, variable, versatile modular product, the "solar light display" combined.
  • Some on-market, large-screen, energy-saving, electronically-controllable lighting systems operate e.g. with illuminant assemblies arranged in a two-dimensional, linear matrix. They work similar to an old line television with relatively large line spacing between 5 and 20 cm with very bright LEDs and / or technically optimized chips.
  • this intermediate space which is no longer used by the display technology, is sufficient, for example, to mount linear photovoltaic module strips (module modules connected in rows of cells or module strips configured in flexibly adaptable thin-film technology) to the same constructive plane in order to additionally provide this surface for solar energy production to use.
  • linear photovoltaic module strips module modules connected in rows of cells or module strips configured in flexibly adaptable thin-film technology
  • the assembly and equipment forms of the solar light display are listed as in the dependent claims 2 to 10 and exemplified varied variant and with each other variously combinable and can thus be optimally matched in terms of local Besonnungs- and visibility and on the individual application task of the system.
  • the energy self-sufficient solar light displays are particularly suitable for mobile use, where they, as described here, for example, as "large-scale media curtains” hung on scaffolding or parts of buildings and can be easily unrolled.
  • SUBSTITUTE SHEET Control units of the mobile display and energy storage units of the PV generator can be housed in a portable box outside the display system and connected to it via cable.
  • the light-emitting surface exposed to the sun during the day loads the temporary storage via the integrated photovoltaic modules and extracts the energy required for the illuminated display during evening operation.
