Abstract

The invention relates to a device for carrying a hood on the wearer's person, including an aluminized bag (9) having the hood vacuum-packed therein, and a protective pouch (3) in which the bag is placed. The pouch is provided with an opening system (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) connected to the bag in such a way that when the pouch is opened, the bag is torn. The invention is particularly useful for carrying a hood around the waist or on a shoulder strap.
