Abstract

L'invention propose un outil de coupe comportant un insert de coupe qui présente une face supérieure, une face inférieure, des faces latérales et des arêtes de coupe formées aux parties d'intersection entre la face supérieure et les faces latérales. L'outil de coupe comporte en outre un support ayant une pluralité de parties de siège de montage d'insert formées sur le côté d'extrémité avant d'une partie de corps pour le montage de l'insert de coupe. L'insert de coupe a un premier signe encastré formé sur la face inférieure et indiquant l'une des parties de siège de montage d'insert du support de façon à monter l'insert de coupe. Les parties de siège de montage d'insert du support ont des faces de butée plates pour venir en butée contre la face inférieure de l'insert de coupe, et les faces de butée plates sont faites pour avoir une dureté inférieure à celle de la face inférieure de l'insert de coupe. L'invention propose également un procédé de coupe pour utiliser l'outil de coupe.
